Throughout of lives, every individual will have special food needs. Special food needs may arise from a number of reasons including age, health, lifestyle choices, cultural influences or logistical circumstances.
Throughout this unit you will explore a range of special food needs and the means to satisfy these. You will also plan and prepare safe and nutritious foods to meet specific needs in various circumstances.
